RECOMMENDED VIEWING ****

Since all of my Wyoming family are up in Rexburg playing with Allison and having fun, I am here alone working and eating good food at least.  Porterhouse steaks the last two nights and would you believe I am going to roast me a leg of lamb tomorrow for Easter.  Duncan and I and Tiggy will eat well.  I don't know how to make a cream sauce so I can't make new potatoes and peas.  I'll have some peas and pass on the spuds.  I don't care much for Jolie, but wow, this is a good movie.  Clint Eastwood directed and produced and did the music.  It is a period piece about police corruption in L.A.  A very compelling story and and the R rating is for the f word said twice, as far as I could tell.  Give it a look, peeps, you should like it.

I saw this not too long ago and loved it! The story was really good, and Jolie did well. I felt so frustrated throughout the movie knowing the little boy was not hers. It's classic Eastwood, he is so wonderful.

Sorry you have to have Easter dinner alone dad. That makes me kind of sad, but it sounds like you are okay with it.

I have wanted to see this, it looked really good. Good to know it is.
I love that you are roasting a leg of lamb and sharing it with your animal peeps. Cute (and makes me a little sad).

Don't be sad for 'ol Pops. I'm good and the fam will be home tonight except for Amy the grandmother who is staying to do her thing for Hales-in-berries. I don't mind being alone for a spell, but I admit I am missing mom and Bronwyn a bit. Friday at work we were laughing with stories about "nail head" here at work. Milan knows him pretty well. Happy Easter. I don't have any chocolate eggs or bunnys. I saw some cottontails this morning off the runways.

Was that a spoiler Sue?

Pops, we miss you so much. It's lame that you are home all alone. We will try to make it up to you.

I don't think it was a spoiler. You get the idea from the preview they played all the time. The one where she yells "I want MY son back!". It's pretty obvious the police gave her a kid that wasn't hers.

No comments about seeing this movie. You all jumped on the "Doubt" movie and melted the keyboards writing comments, but nothing about "Changeling" Get with it peeps. Mom and I saw the new Russel Crowe movie Play...something in Jackson. Not bad, but not a must see. Crowe is always good and an interesting movie about the newspaper business.

I watched it last night and was very impressed. Angelina was terrific. What an ordeal! The corruption of the LAPD made me want to vomit and it was so sad. I am grateful that through her tragedy she was able to make some positive changes in the justice system. The psychiatric ward was disturbing and to use it as a blackmail and negotiation technique, hit me hard. I am feeling blessed with my illness along with the rest of our families as well, we are treated humanely. I think of the many changes since my dear mother was diagnosed over 50 years ago. Progress!

If anyone is still getting these comments, Matt and I watched the Changeling last night. It was good but we had no idea how horribly disturbing it was!! We both had to go upstairs and give Scout hugs and kisses when it was over. Ug. What an awful ordeal. We too were glad she was able to make some positive changes in the corruption.
Matt was especially disturbed for whatever reason. He was glad B didn't see it. You'd think it would have bothered me more then Matt being a mother, but he was the more bothered of the two.

Sorry it disturbed you guys so much! I guess one of us should have mentioned "the ranch" or whatever they called it. I'm guessing that is the part of the story that really got to you guys. I was sure surprised by that part. All the movie trailor let you know was that her son was kidnapped and the cops gave her a different kid and she exposed them for corruption. I had no idea about the mental institution part or the ranch part.

But, *spoiler alert*, it was nice when that one couple got their son back after a few years, right? And it was nice to see Ferris Bueller's sister act again.
