Hey, Peeps. I'm not trying to upstage or mess with SWS. Just a little quote to keep you thinking and active on this blog. Make your guess, or a comment in comments, see who gets it. Probabally Susan.
"Thank God for the model train, because if they didn't have the model train, they wouldn't have gotten the idea for the big train."
Can't wait for Thanksgiving, New Moon, family, food and the pup.

The pup??
Ditto for me: the pup??
About your movie quiz, I can only imagine that it is either a Western or a Clint Eastwood flick (perhaps a combo of the two?) I only guess that judging from dad's clues.
Yeah, the pup! no Emily, it is not from a western or a Clint E movie or an action flick.
Are you talking about Lola? Cause she's staying home.
Dad's been hinting about getting a new pup.
Ah, I kind of suspected.
They picked out a new golden a week ago near Casper. No idea on the quote.
I didn't figure it would take him too long.
I was just reminded of something funny- a few nights ago Rob got into bed after being on the computer and immediately started going on about I am I said (obviously having just caught up on the blog) we laughed about the lyrics- his main critique was the phrase about the frog becoming a prince- yada yada yada and goes- Come on Neil-- bring your A game!
That's funny
I have no clue either. How cool on your upcoming new pup! I hope he or she gives you as much love as Duncan did. Good Luck!
Hey Dad, it's got to be Jennifer Coolidge in A Mighty Wind! Hilarious movie!
I knew you would get it, Sue. Waytogo. Yeah, it's from that ditzy, big hogan gal in A Mighty Wind. Great movie. I still laugh about some of the scenes in "Best of Show" . Chris. Guest is the best.
I loved A Mighty Wind! I think Rob and I saw that in the theater with Ben shortly after he came to live with us.
Didn't recognize the quote though.
I think you did see it in the theater Em, I remember you telling me that. I love Best in Show too, but I have to say A Mighty Wind is my favorite Christopher Guest movie. The way Eugene Levy talks is the best, and Harry Shearer's beard is awesome. Someone didn't like it, was it Cat? Or maybe Matt? Whomever it was, watch it again. You must have been in the wrong frame of mind.
Dad, another very funny part of the scene you quoted from, is when they all hum in honor of the guy who died. Everyone's humming, then the camera pans to Jennifer Coolidge (Hogan lady?), and she can't hum, she's doing that weird noise instead. So funny! I almost watched A Mighty Wind on Saturday night! I was in the mood to watch a movie that I own that I haven't watched in a while, and I saw A Mighty Wind, almost grabbed it, then I saw The Departed and went for that instead. Happy with my choice, I forgot how good The Departed is. I think it might just be my favorite Jack Nicholson role.
And Em, your comment that it might be a Clint Eastwood line has made me giggle all day, and it makes me giggle harder every time I think of it.
Read the quote carefully and say it with your best Clint voice. hahahahhaha!
Ha Ha, Sue. It wasn't me, I loved A Mighty Wind! I also just watched The Departed a couple of weeks ago. The HVAC guy was over, he probably thought I was crazy.
Arr Cat-- I'm the one thar bein' the idiot henceforth. (I was just on facebook- lately after being on there I think in pirate for a little while.)
Rob just stopped by IKEA on his way home and was back by 5, he showed up with 15 picture frames and we spent the evening arranging papers on the wall in a variety of ways to simulate how we'd like to hang them. Anyway, we were home all evening, but the toll of having to be so artistic taxed my brain to the point of pushing out all other thoughts including my sister calling to drop off my cell phone. Lame! Sorry about that, like I said, I got the supreme idiot crown for yesterday. Shots of rum all 'round!
Ok Em. Shall I try again tonight after work? And the left over SDS from last night...throw them out! I want a fresh batch tonight. Better get crackin on those beans.
yes ma'am.
