False Labor!!

I thought I'd start a new post for baby updates so we didn't have to scroll down so far on the blog. Here are a couple of pictures of how we spent a lot of our time last week in Rexburg.

Monitoring contractions and baby's heartbeat. Again! We could have wallpapered a bathroom with all the paper printed from the monitor.

Marcus being silly. Trying to give comfort and sympathy.

Haley writing her ten page paper for her history class on the Reformation and the Renaissance, while having contractions. Some things in life aren't fair!

Cute pictures. Be cuter if the little nipper was in Haleys arms in the hospital bed. I can wait if she can. Hang in there! Haley (to quote a trite saying)

I am hanging, haha. We actually are to the point now that we want her to wait until the 9th because of our finals next week! My contractions have really slowed down today which is soooo nice. I think I have only had like 5 the entire day so I think my body finally got the hint that it wasn't ready yet! So we are just hoping that she will hold off for a few days and let us finish school and then come very soon after! We are so excited to see her! Thanks for posting the pictures mom, I hadn't even seen them yet.

By the way, that paper sucked!!

That is something I need not experience.

I liked the pics too. I am glad your contractions slowed down and you hopefully are finishing school. Allison is just being comfortable and secure. She will be that much more loved when she finally comes. Good luck! Only a few more days! Wish you well.

Well, we're leaving in a couple of hours for Idaho. The kids are off for Spring Break this week, so I'm bringing Kelly, Annie, Kyle & Simonne with me. We'll do a little shopping (prom dresses, etc.), haircuts by Aunt Lynette, and snowboarding with cousins. We're all excited to be there for the birth of Allison and hope everything goes well. A beautiful clear, sunny, travel day. We should even get a great view of the Tetons. yay! No snow! Good luck with finals, Haley & Marcus! See you soon!

Drive carefully, Amy and have fun. I hope you, Haley, can get a few finals done before little Allison comes knocking at the door. We are proud of you.

I have two finals left tomorrow and then I am done!! YAY!! So, I went to the doctor this morning and they checked me again and I still haven't progressed or dilated at all. They are now having me come in at 8:30 wednesday night to the hospital. I think they are going to give me a cervix softening cream thingy that night and then have me sleep there and then start the induction in the morning. So, that's the latest! We will let everyone know when there are more updates!

Happy Due Date Day!!

I'm not sure which makes me more jealous; the fact that you are almost done with finals or that you get to have a baby. Can't wait to see you guys!!

That is crazy timing!

That is crazy timing! It is your due date today right? Good stuff.
It's nice they are being proactive with your induction, except an extra night in the hospital is pretty lame, but probably worth it. Hospital food. Which I didn't find that bad, except for lunch they served me spaghetti that day I had Scout and ew! I had spent the whole night in labor and nauseous, and that was really unappetizing. I didn't touch it and mom looked at my face after a while of it sitting there and said, "boy, you look like you just want that to go away." Luckily, I have a lovely father-in-law that ran and got me a Jamba Juice. The next day was father's day and they had a special meal of turkey and mashed potatoes that Rob and I inhaled, we laughed about how good we thought it was.
Not sure quite why I just told that story. I'm pregnant, food is important to me right now!

Yes, yesterday was my due date and I spent the day shopping! It was great. We went to Outback Steakhouse for dinner last night and Marcus asked the waiter if I could have a free dessert because today was my due date so it was an almost birthday and the waiter was like, "Sure, Why not?" So I got an oreo sundae. Haha. I got really sick from the bloomin' onion though, it was so good and I think I ate a little too much...that was not fun. I have been loving onions so much since I have been pregnant. So, now I am officially overdue. I have a class from 2-3 and an online test in the same class sometime today and then I am done with school! It was very good timing actually, I am glad that it worked out. Yeah Em, I'm not too excited about hospital food, oh well. We are getting so excited for the baby!

Oh and Marcus' sister Nia texted us this morning and said that their friends had a baby girl last night and they named her Scout!! She said, "now there are 2 Scouts in Utah!" I think that is so funny!

I'm glad that it all worked out and that I could take them all and now I don't have to worry about it anymore and just enjoy my little baby! We will let everyone know what it going on as soon as we know something, we are going in at 8:30 tonight. Glad you and Matt and coming, B! See you soon! Drive safe and have a good time in Utah.

Haley is at the hospital right now and they already started her on the pit. So things should be going during the night. I will try to keep you updated, but I might just have to call people. Exciting! She's almost here!
