Happy Belated Birthday Marcus!!!!

Happy belated birthday Marcus! I am sorry this posting is a week late, but I had no idea you had a birthday! Sorry to be such a bad aunt-in-law. But I rely on Haley letting me know these things, but I guess she is busy with something else. I can't imagine what that is. But I found out you had a birthday and I asked Haley to clue me in on things you like and this is what she came up with:

Marcus likes most sports, but mainly football! I think we all know that. Marcus, I really hope this picture I added is not of teams you hate. I know nothing of football and I picked this one because I thought it was kind of cool.

Marcus likes Oregon, and especially the Oregon coast.

Marcus also likes pizza!

He also really likes steak! This picture makes me want to eat that steak!

Haley says that Marcus likes musicals and theatre and he especially liked Les Miserables.

According to Haley, Marcus likes going to school...

And he is really looking forward to being a Physical Therapist.

Marcus likes to play games with the family. Good thing he married into this family!

Marcus really likes hot sauce! I didn't know this about him. Cam and I love hot sauce too! This is a picture I took of a hot sauce display at the French Market in New Orleans when we were there for our honeymoon. We came home with about 15 bottles of hot sauce from there. We liked some of them so much, I actually buy them online when we run out. I'll get some of our favorites for you Marcus!

Marcus loves his family. I don't have a picture of Marcus' family, but I searched google images for the Crook family and found this. Probably not your family Marcus, but it's a nice old wedding picture of a Crook family.

Speaking of family....Marcus really loves his little daughter Allison Kelly Crook! Don't we all? She is one of the most beautiful babies I've ever seen.

And finally, Marcus loves The Office! One of the best TV shows that has ever been made!
Happy Birthday Marcus!!
Love you!! Kisses!!!!

Again, Sue, super posting. Yeah! happy belated birthday, Marcus. You are a good guy. Your tenderness for your daughter and the way you play and relate to Scout proves you belong in this family. If Scout loves you, I can buy into that and accept you..hahaha. Continue to take care of our Haley.

Don't forget June 26, Sue. I like Steak and Jesus.

Yay! Happy late birthday Marcus!
We are happy you are in our family, Scout adores you, and you are an awesome cousin uncle to her for reading her all those books. -I've decided you guys are going to be more like Aunts and Uncles to her and your kids will be more like her cousins. Anyway, you're a great person and fit into the family very well, we are all glad to have you around.

Great job, Sue. I love some of the pictures you chose, especially the "Crook Family". That was funny. Hot sauce picture was really cool. Steak and Jesus, huh. Dad, you are so funny.
Happy belated birthday, Marcus. I ditto all that has been said and will add that you are my favorite son-in-law and you gave me an adorable granddaughter! Thanks for everything you do for Haley and Allison. You will be successful in all you do.

p.s. I'm really looking forward to Dad's birthday post.

I've been looking forward to doing Dad's b-day post since I started doing these! Everyone can start sending me ideas of things he likes. I'll make sure to note the steaks and Jesus in my spreadsheet Dad.

Spreadsheet! SPREADSHEET!! I don't want no stinking spreadsheets. Just a short list. hehehehe if that is possible. Steak is easy to remember and Jesus has been around a long time. Easy! I like crisp, new, 5 dollar bills.

Dad, you're hilarious! I have a spreadsheet to keep track of everyone's birthdays and the little things they like. I update it when something pops in my head that someone likes or if they mention something on the blog or facebook that they like.

Speaking of these posts--Cat do you want me to do one for Booker?

Cat said...

Booker would like that, Sue. Thanks.

Pops said...

My word verification is semofsh. Sort of like sumbitch (one of my favorite words). Keep that off the spreadsheet, Sue.

Sorry you have been ill, Cath. Hope you are better now. Not the porker flu I hope. Love

Cat said...

Thanks, Dad. No flu symptoms, just a head and chest cold. Last night I was probably at my worst and almost called in sick today, but I'm starting to feel a bit better. It's been a long week.

Haley said...

Wow, you guys are funny. Porker flu! Thanks for doing a post for Marcus, Sue! That was really nice. By the way, his birthday was the 22nd so you can put it in your spreadsheet! Haha. Hope you feel better soon Cath!

Sue said...

Happy to do it Haley and Marcus is already on the spreadsheet.

Cat can you send me some things Booker likes? I know legos, bionicles, and hot pockets, but I really don't know what cartoons, movies and tv shows he likes. And any other things you can think of.

This is Marcus. Thanks Sue and everyone! I really love being apart of this family. Whenever were together it is always so much fun! Sue I love hot sauce! I could have hot sauce with everything I eat. You should let me know the website, I would love to get some good hot sauce. Just to let you know Ames, your my favorite mother-in-law and you gave me the most beautiful wife ever! The Porker Flu, Steak and Jesus! That's so funny! I think I need to read this blog more often. You guys are all great! Thanks! Cat, get feeling better.

Sorry you're sick Cath. I hate colds! They last too long and I like to breathe. Feel better soon!
Booker likes to use big words and eat exotic sea creatures. He likes to slide down the stairs in a sleeping bag at Aunt Amy's house with Kyle.

Haley, Did you forget to mention that Marcus likes Shakespeare?!!!

Haley said...

Oh yeah! I did forget about that one. Marcus just took a Shakespeare class and did really well in it and his teacher suggested him as being qualified to be a Shakespeare tutor on campus!! We thought it was pretty funny.

Pops said...

Hummm: Marcus Rex, the Shakespeare tutor. That has a nice ring to it. Been thinking what I could qualify for to tutor. Maybe how to pick your ears with something smaller than a football?
