Happy Birthday Scott!!!

Happy Birthday Skippy!!! Sorry I didn't get this posted sooner. It's just been a crazy busy day for a Sunday for me. And sorry we couldn't be out there to celebrate with you. Believe me, you sister's-in-law wanted to be out there so bad this weekend! We will be out there soon though. Anyway, thanks to Amy, Dad and Emily, I got a pretty good list of things Scott likes:

Scott loves to travel. He especially loves to go to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico.
And Washington DC.

He loves "nice, hot cars" according to Dad. Especially the BMW M5.

Here's a no-brainer, Scott loves golf! Dad says he really loves to make long putts and he loves to out drive his father-in-law.

Scott loves Wyoming football and basketball and really the whole state of Wyoming.

Scott loves Classic Rock! We've all played Jukebox enough with him to know that! But he seems to particularly like The Doobie Brothers!

Scott likes to steal food off of other people's plates! You probably don't realize you do this Scott! But a few people told me you like to do this!

Scott loves to play games. According to Amy especially games, like card games, that involve strategy and beating everyone else!

Scott likes to eat healthy. Fish and tenderloins were mentioned by more than one person.

But he also loves Chocolate Chip Cookies! Who wouldn't after seeing this picture!

And finally, I don't know if this is something Scott loves the best, but it is something he does the best. Scott makes people laugh! Those of us lucky enough to know Scott outside of
his professional/church calling life, know that he is the funniest person on this earth! I'm sure his colleagues know he has a sense of humor, but I don't think they ever get to see the Scott we get to see.
Scott, I know I can speak for Catherine, Emily and Matt, when I say that we are so grateful you came into our lives. Thank you for being such a wonderful brother-in-law, I can't imagine my life without you.

Love you!!!! Kisses!!!!!

Happy Birthday Scott! Happy day when we became companions and then friends through many crazy adventures in the mission field and then when you came home and we did the road trip (something to put on the list, Sue: "road bosoms") and your living with Bev and me while you went to school and wooed the Mose. Lorri and I also still laugh at stuff from those early days of our marriages.

Congrats on all you do and for the amazing life you've built up for you and your family and all who have the chance to be around you.

Happy Birthday Honey!! You're the best. This post made me smile at the many things you like. I forgot to mention the mind-games you love to play with kids, your love for babies, especially newborns (watch out Allison!!), and how much you love your kids. You are a wonderful dad and husband. We all love you so much.
Thanks Sue! Great job!

YAY! Happy Birthday Skippy! You have been more of a big brother then anything and Sue said it all- we are so glad you came in our lives.
Remember when I was visiting you guys in Concord and we drove all the way to Magic Mountain, played there, and then drove home that night? That was fun.

By the way, I think Scott is WELL aware that he eats food off of other people's plates. He explains it himself and also I am pretty sure Amy made it perfectly clear that he does it when he did it during her pregnant days.

Oh yeah, Scott loves little baby girls in dresses. I think that's cute.

Hope your birthday is great, enjoy your walleye and bread pudding! See you on thursday! Yes, Allison is in for it! He loves babies and hogs them and just loves to hold them and look at them, it's cute.

Oh, and he stole stuff off my plate all the time, I claim that it prepared me for marriage because Marcus does it as well! Haha. And he does love his chocolate chip "cooks!" I love how dad shortens the words for everything, that's another thing that he loves!

Happy Birthday, Scott! You are the best! I'm so glad you are in our family. I think that you've had a huge influence on us and the way we love to spend time with eachother. What is it with you guys and bread pudding on your birthdays?

Bread pudding is so good. I use a recipe from Mrs. Fields and put a butterscotch sauce and vanilla ice cream on top. Yum.

I didn't think I liked bread pudding until I worked at Riverside. Now- yum! It does fall under the category that Rob labels "old people food", but I'm an old person in training.

By the way, GREAT picture of someone stealing food from someone's plate. Out of curiosity, did you just type in "stealing food from someone's plate" into google images or what?

Yeah, Scott, Happy birthday. You like playing games, but don't like getting beat. Gottcha last night. You lost to all of us playing tripolee. hahahaha You just are a great person Scott and I am so glad you and Amy are married and I love your family so much. You are a poster family for what it is all about. Thanks for your friendship.

I think that is exactly what I typed into Google images Em! It made me laugh so hard when I found it. I think I first just put in "stealing food" and it was mostly pictures of animals stealing food from eachother.

Scott trivia: You couldn't force him to drink a sodie with a gun, however he does have a thing for chocolate malted milk. I am not saying that is a bad thing.

I've seen him sip a root beer or two, but very infrequently.
