HAPPY BIRTHDAY CATHERINE

Happy birthday Cath.  You were the cutest child and very funny.  Love the chicken or turkey or what ever Amy dressed you up as.  Hahaha.   You dad and mom wish you the happiest time on your birthday and we feel so blessed to have you in our family.  Love,  Kisses,    Pops

Happy Birthday, Cat!!! We love you so much. I have so many memories of you as my adorable little sister (including the time that Ben and I dressed you up in that chicken outfit or whatever it was). I remember fixing your hair and watching you and Emily play endlessly with Barbies and stuff. I also remember saying goodnight to you one night and seeing that Neil Diamond picture clutched in your tiny hand. Too cute! Hope you have a great day. Love you, Kisses! Amy

HAHAHAHA on the Neil pic.
Remember how we were always referred to as "the little girls"?

Here are some good Cat memories:

-Our ken dolls flying by flapping one leg (watching 5 minutes of Grease on tv the other day, I found out where that originated- After the song Beauty School Drop Out, the guys come out flying that exact way.)

-Lining up stuffed animals or cars in neat lines and running them endlessly through the house (then trying to get Tommy to participate- did not go well).

-playing Monopoly at The Anderson's with accountants (also remember that game where we each made a room in their playhouse and we all had jewels and we hid them in our 3'X 3' house and then we would all switch houses and ransack the other's house for their jewels- what was up with that game? Fun though).

-watching Encino Man, School Ties and Alive over and over and over and discussing them endlessly.

-I also fondly remember that night when we had that family reunion at Bear Lake and we slept in the same tent one night and discovered we sleep the EXACT same way- and it's weird. I also remember having fun talking that night because I had been in NY for 7 months or something and it was good to see you again.

Ah yes. Fubbys and Nauldies. "The Little Girls" I remember going down and talking to Tom at Playland when they were renting videos and talking him into selling me a copy of Encino Man for a birthday. It might have been for susie. Don't remember which. I didn't know you watched those movies a lot. The line of cars and animals I do remember. Down the stairs and down the hall. All over... hahahehe. Very funny stuff.

It was for Cat's birthday and we rented Encino Man so many times, probably paid for it twice. That was nice of Tom to do that. "Playland" hee hee. And yes, we watched the other two a million times as well.

Oh, and really cute of you dad to do that too.

"Partyland" it was Partyland I think. So it was for Cat's birthday? Okay, fine, I'll go with that. Where is Sue? Is her computer down again? Anyone know?

W.V. is tombrap. Hahaha.. is that a place they bury .50Cts and the boys?

Wasn't it called "Partyland"?

Happy Birthday Cat! Love those pictures! I remember Amy and Ben dressing you up in that funny outfit. Hope you had a good birthday.

There is one memory I've been thinking about of Cat a lot this last week. We were hanging out in my room, I was in either 8th or 9th grade, so Cat was probably 9 or so. Cat was kind of swinging in that wicker egg shape chair I had that hung from the ceiling, and I was on the phone with Travis Johnson. Cat suddenly hit the wall and flew out of the chair and landed on the floor. It was so funny. I remember hearing the chair hitting the wall and looking over just in time to see these 2 tiny legs flying through the air.

I've been thinking about that a lot lately because sadly, Travis got caught up in a drug deal gone bad last week. He tried to escape in his car and ran over a cops foot and got shot by another cop. He died last Tuesday and I went to his viewing on Saturday. Sorry to be a downer, but it is always sad when an old friend dies.

Happy Birthday Cat!

Sorry, Sue, about your friend. That is really sad. Cute story about Cat, though. I can picture those skinny little legs flying through the air!

Thanks, you guys! You're the best. Sorry this is so late, I took Monday off work because my driver's license expired and I had to go to the DMV. Then I got deathly ill. Well, that's an exaggeration. But I stayed home for 2 days! We have a training course going on and I just didn't want to be all gross with our visitors. But I'm on the mend and catching up with blogs. Oh, and work. Hee hee.

Happy Birthday Cath! Matt and I think that you look a TON like him in that last picture.

I've been sick too, and our computer seems to have caught my virus... we don't know what happened, but one of the harddrives is pretty much obsolete... fortunately, Matt can go into the other one and back up the crashed one somehow, but we have been without a computer for a few days... Of course it had to be the harddrive that all his work on it, but fortunately it can be rescued. So anyways, that's why there hasn't been a wednesday hint on WTB. We'll get back to normality soon I hope!!

Cath, I have been meaning to post a comment on here for a while. Want to wish you a late Happy Birthday, tell you I love you tons, and share a recent fond memory of you. We have lots of recent fun memories of going to concerts together, since we share a lot of the same favorite artists. But one in particular was the 2nd Alkaline Trio show we went to together. (last summer I think??) We were all excited to go and had tickets, which seemed pretty high priced for an Alk3 show, and Jon and I were going to meet you and go together. While we were on the freeway Jon's jeep over heated and we had to do a bunch of stuff to get it working again, then it stalled again. We finally got to your place like an hour late, and you were still so sweet and happy to see us and you drove us to the show. We got there for the last 4 songs and we still had a blast. I remember being inspired by your positive attitude and your determination to enjoy the night no matter what. Sweet.
They played Radio too. Only time I ever saw them play that live out of the 6 or 7 times seeing them.

Ha Ha! I about died when they played Radio. That was so much fun even though we only saw like the last four songs. Good times.
