Those are my lamb sound effects. Pretty sweet, eh? And I was watching Les Miserables 25th anniversary edition concert over at Phistas, then I was working. Sorry I didn't get around to it.
Well, I really hope that none of you texted Matt the answer, because I have zero record of that.
The movie is...
A Wright classic for sure. Matt and I went over every list Dan sent us twice and didn't see it, so he went with it. Such an awesome movie. My favorite part is the quote I used for the giveaway. Second would have to be the laugh scene after the stairs fall down, of course.
Well, I have no idea how far apart the guesses on Facebook are (it's not listing any times), but there are 4 right in a row, and it's.... Em first!!! Then Haley, Amy and Cat (in that order) right behind her. Pops came in yesterday or early this morning, can't remember which, and that concludes the winners circle.
Sorry, I wasn't very motivated since it wasn't my win. But I did enjoy Cactus quite a bit.

AGH! I thought for sure I won this week! I got it like two hours after the first clue was posted. DRAT! I think I'm the winner win it comes to getting 2nd place.
The Money Pit? Uh, completely unforgettable. Think I saw it way way back but gone and forgotten by the time the credits rolled. Seriously, Wrights? No drinking or drug use in your homes? Unless so, can't understand this one being even CLOSE to a classic....
Thems fightin words Dan. The Money Pit is truly a Wright classic and has been for years. I didn't get it, but I kind of forgot to check the new quotes as they came up. I would have gotten for sure with the giveaway. That is such funny scene. Tom Hanks is so funny in this movie. You should give it another viewing.
And I think you probably meant "completely forgettable".
Yep, meant "forgettable."
I'll just have to give this one over to the universe because even if you guys think it's funny, I don't think I can bring myself to purposely watch anything ever again with Shelly Long in it. About the only thing I've ever mildly liked her in was doing a pretty spot on Mrs. Brady.
When I am sad and need a laugh, I watch the scene of the bathtub falling through the floor and Tom Hanks doing the best laugh ever seen on film or tape. Nothing else is even close and this movie is a wright classic. I watch it every time it is on cable (at least skip through the best parts. ) It is a little depressing seeing how remodeling a house can be such a black hole money pit. I hated the pompus symphony director, but loved the contractor. I could go on and on, but loved the movie and Hanks was really good in it. Good choice Matt and B.
I remember when you posted that clip on Myspace for all of us. Remember the Myspace days? I watched that clip several times and it made me laugh hard every time.
"The family that laughs at other people's disasters together . . . "
You're all warped, but that's why I love hanging with you!
Yup! Never said we were not a little warped. The name of the mayor of Riverton is named Warpness. Maybe we ought to adopt him in?
Haha. I LOVE this movie, it's so funny. Definitely a Wright classic. I'm going to watch that tub scene right now. And the line about the care bears is probably one of my favorite movie lines ever.
We gonna play a new game this week? Or should LAST WEEK's runner-up take the win and get something started?
Would anyone be too put out if I just posted the new game on Saturday? I am so busy with moving, lots of Elle stuff this week and Scout starting summer. Plus it is already Wednesday anyway..........Just makes the most sense to me.
Anything makes more sense than forefiting to Dan. I can live without a game this week, but only because you have such a good excuse. Don't hurt yourself, Elms, moving the stuff and take good care of the Littles.....and Rob. Love you guys.
Anything beats forfeiting to Dan.... Love it!
Good luck with all you have going on, Em. And luckily Matt's short list has four good songs on it...
