WATCHMEN...PHOOY, PHOOY HUD SAUCE

Just about the worst two and a half hours I have ever spent watching a movie.  Boring, dumb, incomprehensible and stupid.  The Rorschach character had a few moments and his mask was interesting but that was all.  The lead guy (Dr. Manhatten) was so bad I almost puked and I have a very strong stomach.    Leave this one alone, peeps.  If anyone has seen it and liked it even a little, I would like to hear what you liked.

Wow Pops! Tell us how you really feel! You aren't vocal about your dislikes very often. This was way funny!
And if I could ever "judge a book (movie) by its cover" and get away with it, it would be with this movie I am sure. It looks SOOO lame.

Now I kinda wanna see it...

I generally stay away from comic book movies unless I hear lots and lots of great things about them. This movie? All I heard was hudsauce. I will leave this one alone, no problem.

When do the Phisters come back? I miss them.

Me likey this movie.

But, let me put out this caveat. I read the graphic novel this movie is based on a couple of times 10 or 15 years ago, and I totally enjoyed it. I really believe only people who have read the novel would like the movie. Dr. Manhatten is so great in the novel. The movie tried to do his origin story and what he is all about, but they didn't do a very good job.

I'm certainly not going to defend the movie, because again, I really think only people who are familiar with the graphic novel should see the movie. If you haven't read the novel, I totally agree this movie would be total hud sauce. I totally dug it, and thought they did a great job. I was totally surprised when I heard they were doing a Watchmen movie. It's not like Spiderman ot the X-Men where you can really like the movie without ever having read any of the comic books.

I watched 15 minutes and gave up. It was horrible! I guess some people liked it. Boy I would have been so mad if I paid for a ticket in the theatre!
