Remember this one, anybody? I have always liked this movie and saw it a few times when it first came out in 2000. I haven't seen it on cable for a long time and decided to Netflix it and so I did. Mom and I saw it tonight while most of you were still at Lagoon bunnjee jumping and eating corn dogs. Sean Connery is pretty much always good and and this picture is no exception. He is a reclusive author and mentors a talented black kid with a talent. Good story and it will make you think a little. Do yourselves a favor and watch it.

Funny comment, George. This definitely is a movie I like and one I always watch when I spot it on cable.

F. Murray Abraham as another jealous lesser talent. Does the guy ever play any other roles?
