Let's go gang! River rafting is so fun. Thanks Amy and Scott for having the idea and putting it together. Stay dry! Yea! I uploaded the top pic based on Emily's instructions in the comments section. Thanks, Ems. The second numbers was the key to the size and the part that I did not remember. I am sure Matt has told me this about a half-jillion times. I am such a moron!

Yeah I'm excited! Hopefully we won't end up like that picture.
Nice picture Dad. I can almost see what is going on...
Yeah, I'm totally stoked on the happenings this weekend. Too bad everyone can't make it.
Haha! I was thinking the same thing Matt. I tried clicking on it to make it bigger. Nope.
Ripping on dad's pic aside-- I am SO EXCITED for this weekend. I am even excited for Matt kicking my butt in Monopoly. Bring it!
Okay, rip me for the small picture. Scroll down to the Field of Dreams posting and read the last part again where I am asking for help with gooogle images and how to make them bigger. Not one reply. Not one suggestion. No help. So rip away all you want, just don't complain when I pitch you out of the boat!
Fair enough- BUT I have a good reason for not helping you. I figured you do most of your blogging on Matt's Mac and I don't think my suggestions would help, cause I think they work differently. But I would be happy to share my pc picture know how- if just to clear my conscience.
1. google what you are looking for: "rafting".
2. at the top of the page of results google has a little bar that says "images - videos - maps -etc" click "images".
3. you should now have page after page of pics. At this point I look at the pics looking for two things a)one I find suitable b)I look at the size (it's the second line and is a number X numberk. I aim for one that is in the neighborhood of 900 if I can- that means it is bigger and when it is condensed on the blog (or my ipod's window) the pic will be better quality.
4. when you find one of suitable quality, click the image. THEN click "full size image".
5. When the pic is loaded, right click and then choose "save image as".
6. In my computer's picture files, I have one labeled "blog pics" it's a place where I save these pictures I blog and I regularly purge the folder since I have no use for them a second time in most cases.
7. I believe you know what to do from there: add a pic on blogger, find the folder you saved the pic in, and you're in business.
Wow! Ems. Good work on my lesson and instructions. Most of what you said makes sense and I remember some of the things you are telling me. Things that I have seen on google imiages. From what I remember the Mac is not much different. We'll see. Thanks, and you saved yourself from being thrown out of the raft.
Nice job dad! Glad I saved my own butt. Sorry suckers!
Ok now I'm a bit freaked out to go rafting.......
Dad your comment about pitching us out of the boat has made me giggle all day. Thanks for that! I can't wait for the rafting trip!
I just found out about this. Oh well. Hope you all have a great time!
I texted you last week Ben. Then found out your phone doesn't get texts after it was too late. And I kept hearing of people calling you, though I guess no one got through. I'm so sorry. Would have loved to have you!
Rafting the river was a blast. The best part was Matt being thrown out of the boat in a rapid. Thanks Amy and Scott for the trip and the fun.
Yeah, I stopped the text thing on my phone, I have to pay per text and I was trying to cut down on my phone bill. I appreciate that you made an effort to contact me.
