WTB movie SPANGLISH
I hesitated to use this movie because I knew that Matt loved it so much and has seen it multiple times. I thought I could slip the first quote by him but lost. He got it on the first day early.
Sue babe was second on Tuesday. Then Emily, Bronwyn and Dan after the Wednesday quotes.
Excellent movie with a lot of laughs but with some real feelings and messages. The mother/daughter relationship between Flor and Christina was special. Tia Leoni did a great acting job as well as her mother Cloris Leachman. Very funny stuff but sensitive. Best part for Adam Sandler since Happy Gilmore. I liked the fact that dispite the physical attraction between the two main actors, they withstood the temptation to jump in the sack that we see in most all other movies. To bad the movie only grossed $42,000. It's a shame that more people didn't see it. Good one gang, and congrats, Matthew. Looking forward to your playlist and it better have a Pixies number on it.

Congrats, Matt! Looking forward to your playlist and this week's contest!
I LOVE Spanglish and am kicking myself for not working harder on the first clues. There isn't much I don't like about the film, but my favorite aspect simply has to be the hot mess that is the Tea Leoni character. Wow! I have been a bit fan of hers for a long time, but she really made me crazy and frustrated and wanting to strangle some sense into her throughout this movie. Fantastic job! Love it when very beautiful women like her allow themselves to become very unattractive.
Good comment, Dan. You were on the mark with your remarks regarding Tea Leoni. One of the reasons that Matt and I like "Family Man" so much is that she is so good in that film. I too, am waiting for Matt and his posting.
I love this movie and the quotes sounded familiar. I need to see this again, it's a great movie.
