Scout got a little package in the mail a few days ago from Grandpa. To her absolute joy it was animals! He typed a little note to go with it telling her that he had never personally bought her anything (Grandma takes care of that) and he felt like going to the store and buying her something. He had observed her play while we were out there the week before and liked the care and love she had for them, so he expanded her collection. It was all a very cute thing to do and we wanted to say thanks. He even picked out babies for the animals which as you all know, means A LOT to Scout.
She says: thanks and she likes that there are babies and her favorites are the horses and the sheep.
Thanks so much dad, such a fun little thing for a 5 year old to get in the mail, out of the blue.

Oh that's so sweet! What a great grandpa we have. :)
That's awesome, Dad. How cute. Have fun, Scout.
It's the little things that count and she is old enough to remember this when she grown and has fond memories of grandpa.
Thanks for the props, Ems. Scout has always loved her animals so I got her a few more. It was picking them out and thinking how will she like this one. Someday post a picture of them all lined up or her playing with them. She is so cute as well as smart. Love...
Grandpa, you are seriously the best!
