HAPPY BIRTHDAY AMY (Arnold)

Happy birthday, Amy, dear. I didn't look for any "Arnold" pictures, but I found these and they should work. I see some Haley in you in this first picture. You were a delight to raise in our family as the first girl. Lots of fun and were very helpful to mom and I with all the others. We are blessed times seventy to have you in our family. Love, kisses... Mom and Dad

You were always impersonating Nixon. We have a better picture than this that I can't find right now. I saw it just a week or so ago. But you all get the idea.
Amy with Grandpa Wright
Amy with her Anne. You always liked animals and have a soft spot in your heart for all the furry critters.
What's to say about this??
Ahh, yes. The drill team. Go Springville High! DeVilles?
Nice cap!
Yes, the wedding day. I can't wait for Skippys birthday. Hahaha. But later for that. This is your birthday, Amy. Have a good one and know that we all love, respect and admire you for the great person you are and all you have done.

Happy one, Mose! GREAT pix, George. The Nixon one is way too funny. I also want to know what's up with the hair beard! Always great to see Grandpa Wright in pix, too.

Anyway, Amy, you are really an amazing person who we all love and appreciate so much. I hope you get celebrated to the max today, and always!

Oh, Allison! I love you too and your cute little messages! The beard hair was just from a silly moment at Drill Team Camp at USU. Mary Ann and I did that and she got a picture (lucky me!) And Rob, I told you I had shorts like you! LOVE the picture of Grandpa and I. He was the greatest! Thanks guys--love you too!

Happy Birthday Amy! I think you are amazing, and it's really really fun to get to know you better...
The shorts, I must say, are a little more natural looking on me, but thats ok.
And like Dan and Cat said, I see a lot of your girls in you-don't take this the wrong way Sarah, if you ever read this blog, but I see a lot of you in the bearded lady picture.

And I totally see Haley in the first pic.
So what did you do for your birthday? Thanks for being such a rock for the family and always being there. Rob and I admire you and your family so much!

I'm still cracking up at your Nixon! Didn't quite know you had such acting chops!

Yummy dinner last night at the Bull. Thanks, Scott.

Acting chops! Hahaha. Love Elinor's message. Did she really type "amy" or did you intervene?
I had a very interesting birthday. Good and bad. It started with both girls sleeping in for seminary and Kyle had a hard time getting up, too. Combination of coming home from Idaho and daylight saving's time. (Bad) I went back to bed after I got the kids off because I wasn't quite ready to face the day. (Good) Glad I got a little extra sleep cause I needed it for what was ahead with Owen. I went to pick him up from the Vet who boarded him while we were away. He smelled really bad and got muddy walking out to the car (yes, our brand new car). He got the back muddy and I had to give him a bath when we got home. He jumped out and started running. (Anyone seen Beethoven?) (Very bad) I hurried and showered and went to lunch at the Depot (good Mexican food) with Kelly, Mom, and Scott (Good). The rest of the afternoon I realized that Owen had completely forgotten ALL housebreaking skills I have spent the past 2 months of my life TRYING to teach him. He has totally digressed and seems to think nothing is wrong with peeing and pooping anywhere he wants to (Extremely bad!!). Got totally screwed over by a ticket agent who told me the tickets I had resereved for the Michael Buble tickets were not mine anymore and the only available tickets left were for 412.00 each!! I was going to take my girls to the concert as my birthday present. The lady (term used very loosely) completely lied to me!! I was so mad (obviously bad). Still trying to get more tickets but I'm a little worried about it. Then I picked Kyle up from track practice, and met Mom and Dad, Scott, Kelly and Annie at The Bull Steakhouse. (Very good) Mom baked me a lemon cake and I got some nice presents. Anyway, a day definitely of ups and downs! Sorry to whine a little. I was very aware, though, of the love of my great family (you guys all included, of course!) and friends. Owen is still being very naughty today. I've never been so mad at a living creature as I am now! I feel so bad. He's tied up to our deck now cause I don't want to kill him! :) Sorry Em, you asked what I did!

Wow Aim! The bad stuff was pretty bad (good stuff was good though), all in all, doesn't sound like the most fun birthday ever (it was no trip to Thermopolis with your sisters followed by polyester suit fashion shows, that's for sure).

About your message from Elinor:
If you look closely, you will not only find Amy, but "happy Birthday Aunt Amy" in Elle's message (or something like that, she doesn't quite have it perfect- yet). If I must confess, Elle was downstairs when her birthday message was typed. I just thought I'd one up Allison, heehee.

Oh funny! I'll have to look closer. Yeah, it was not as good as the polyester suits, that's for sure. But, you know, turning 44 isn't supposed to be fun, is it?

Mose, sorry for all the "sheeshy" parts of you B-day! Glad the rest was neat.

Any better news on the Owen front?

Amy said...

Yes, Owen is finally back to normal. (Mostly) He has about 1 accident per day, which I can handle. He's a tough one to housebreak, I guess. The vet said that some are just harder than others. What really makes me sick is that we're leaving again on Friday for 6 days and I'm afraid it's going to happen again when I pick him up.

Amy said...

NO, I repeat, NO accidents yesterday!!! yay!
