WTB New Movie for the Week

YES! Nice win! I have watched Hitch a lot. Good, fun movie and I liked all the actors. Dan remembered all the good parts and scenes so I will not repeat. Just a good fun Rom-Com as he said.

Now, as I am sitting here at my i-mac, eating string cheese, waiting for the BYU/TCU ball game in an hour, I am trying to pick out a good quote from the movie I have chosen to put up as my quiz for you faithful that are still trying. It's a good solid movie from the decade of good movies, the 80's. It won some high awards in it's time. Good luck.

Quote one:
Person 1: Stop it!
Person 2: I am stopping it! Slowly. There? See? I've stopped. Now we're going back.
Person 1: No!
Person 2: Yes, yes! You don't know where you are! Here. Everything goes backwards. People walk backwards, dance backwards, sing backwards, and even talk backwards.
Person 1: That's stupid.
Person 2: Why? People fart backwards.

Quote two:
Person: Your son is an unprincipled, spoiled, conceited brat!

Have fun and have a good week.

WEDNESDAY QUOTES: There are 6 pages of quotes from IMDB for this movie. Most of them will give the movie away. I'll see what I can do now and Friday I am sure I will give it away with some quotes.

Quote 1: Person: That was God laughing at me. Through that obscene giggle...

Quote 2: Person 1. Are you sure you can't leave these and, and come back again?
Person 2: It's very tempting sir, but it's impossible. I'm afraid. ------- would be frantic if he found those were missing. you see they're all originals.
Person 1: Originals?
Person 2: Yes, sir; he doesn't make copies.
Person 1: These, are originals?

Good luck again.
GIVE AWAY FRIDAY QUOTES:
Emperor: My dear young man, don't take it too hard. Your work is ingenious. It's quality work. And there are simply too many notes, that's all. Just cut a few and it will be perfect.
Main Character: Which few did you have in mind, Majesty?
Quote 2: Salieri: On the page it looked nothing, the beginning simple, almost comic. Just a pulse - bassoons and basset horns - like a rusty squeezebox, then suddenly - high abouve it - an oboe, a single note, hanging there unwavering, till a clarinet took over and sweetened it into a phrase of such delight! This was no composition by a performing monkey! This was a music I'd never heard. Filled with such longing, such unfulfillable longing, it had me trembling. It seemed to me that I was hearing the very voice of God.
There you go.....if you don't get it now you never watched a very interesting movie.

George, nice playlist! Not sure I like this version of City of New Orleans as I do the Arlo Guthrie one, but still not too bad. The rest are all most excellent!

Thanks, Dan. I just tried to put on tunes that I like and haven't heard some in a long time. I'm still mostly an "oldies guy".
