My pick on the celebrity that has aged the worst

Some celebrities can look just as good at 70 as they did at 20. Paul Newman for example looked great his entire life. Meryl Streep looks like she did Kramer vs. Kramer just last year! But some don't age so well. My pick on the celebrity I think has not only aged bad, but seems to have transformed into a completely different person?

MICKEY ROURKE!!!!!

Here is a good looking Mickey Rourke with such promise.

Very nice picture. Almost James Dean handsome.

Seriously, is this the same guy?

EWWWW!

AUGHAUGHAUGHAUGH!!! That is him on the right. This picture looks like it was taken while filming his new film "The Wrestler", which is supposed to be really good. But come on!

I just had to do this post. I've seen a few previews for The Wrestler in the last few days, and I just can't believe that is him. Anyone else have any picks on who has aged badly?

Emily (and Rob's) Picks

He's no Mickey Rourke, but I don't think age has treated Kevin Costner well:

And Meg Ryan? YIKES! Her problem may be a botched plastic surgery, but whatever happened, she used to be so cute....Seriously, this is tragic.

Now, we couldn't find any picture of Gary Busey young, but I've got to believe he looked better then this:

Last but not least, our personal favorite: Nick Nolte

We realize this is a mug shot, so perhaps not fair, so here is another one.......

I got curious about Kenny Rogers (I didn't know about his surgery) and found an article called "15 worst celebrity botched up plastic surgeries" (or something) anyway, here he is: He is apparently quite open about it and regretful.
Look how cute he was before.

Ok, here is another one I found. Look at Melanie Griffith!!! What? I was never her biggest fan but holy crap! She is only 50!

Ok, I've never heard of this lady, but she rightly made #1 on the list:She is a wealthy socialite, and her husband left her, so she spent 4 MILLION dollars in plastic surgery. I am just speechless. I don't think she got him back.

Anyway, sorry for the tangent, I just had to share those. If you want to see all 15 go here.

I just saw Ethan Hawke in a recenct movie. Noteworthy bad-aging process going on there. I even commented on it during the movie. It was a really good movie by the way. Phillip Seymour Hoffman was in it too. It's called 'Before the Devil Knows Your Dead'. I would rate it @#$%. It would scar B for life. Mickey Rourke, good call. Michael Madsen is another barely recognizable aging actor. You know who's aged beautifully also is Dianne Keaton. She looks amazing.

I will have to check out Ethan Hawke, didn't see that coming.

On the flip side, I think age has made Tom Hanks look better. Same with George Clooney, he looks way better now then he did in his 20's.

Cruise the original blog to see our worse list (Mine and Robs).

Has anyone seen Kenny Rogers lately?? He seriously doesn't look like the same guy. Gotta be another victim of plastic surgery.

I just thought of someone. I think most people would agree that Patrick Dempsey has aged well.

Good call on Dempsy, definitely looks better now then younger.

I didn't know that about Ethan Hawke either. I never really found him that good looking in the first place though.

NICK NOLTE! I forgot about that one. Best mugshot ever! Well, except for Glen Campbell's, have you seen that one? If not go to the smoking gun website, they have all the celebrity mugshots.

Meg Ryan is definitely a victim of too much/or bad plastic surgery. Why do those women think pumping a bunch of botex in their lips looks good? I never noticed that about her because she is pretty much in chick flicks that I avoid.

As for George Clooney, I don't think he looks better now. He just looks like an older, well aged George Clooney. He is just as good looking as we was as George on The Facts of Life or Booker on Rosanne. I think I got over my Shaun Cassidy crush the first time I saw him on Facts of Life!

Kenny Rogers, tragic, tragic victim of plastic surgery. He looks like a white oriental guy now.

And you've mentioned Michael Madsen before Cat. I guess I haven't seen him recently. I thought he looked pretty good in the Kill Bill movies, and they weren't too long ago. Has something happened since then?

That last picture is so gross I almost threw up. That is 4 million dollars well spent!

Poor Kenny Rogers, he looks like a freak. And I've always thought Melanie Griffith was pretty gross.

I have always thought Melanie Griffith was gross. At least it looks like the 3 pounds of collagen she had inserted into her lips is gone.
What did that lady tell the plastic surgeon? "Please please make me look like a lion, oh and give me a chin the size of Texas."?

Sue said...

She does kind of look like a lion, like a cartoon one.

I was in line behind a little old lady once at the grocery store. From behind she looked like she was probably one of those cute little old ladies. Then she turned around and I almost screamed. She had had so many face lifts, her skin was stretched so tight she looked like a skull with very thin skin on it. Her eyes were so tight, I doubt she was capable of closing them.

Scout would have totally freaked out if she saw her. That is one of the things that really cracks me up about Scout. She is afraid of old ladies.

AAAGGHH!! Did you read that part about the last lady wanting to turn herself into a big cat??!! That is terrifying!! I always though Melanie Griffith was cute, but that's horrendous!!

Haha, Mickey Rourke won a Golden Globe last night for Best Performance by an Actor in a Motion Picture-Drama. He beat our Leonardo DiCaprio, Frank Langella, Sean Penn, and Brad Pitt. His hair was terrible too, but this just goes to show looks aren't everything!

I don't agree with Nicolas Cage. I think he looks good.

Also, one person that I think looks better now than when he was younger is Tom Petty. Just a thought. It can happen.

I just get back from Las Vegas looking at all the beautiful people and now look at the family blog...ugly with a capital UGLY! Holy cow! Peeps, what is going on. that last picture of a lady is so bad. It reminds me of an old saying: "God made her as ugly as he could and then hit her in the face with a brick!" You know where the saying "Coyote ugly" came from? "She's was so ugly that when you woke up in the morning and she was laying on your arm....you would rather chew your arm off than wake her up"

No one mentioned Michael Jackson, doesn't he count anymore? Something did happen to Meg Ryan. She used to be the picture you saw when you looked up "cute, perky" in the dictionary, now egheeeee!!

The Cage comment was directed to B because she said "looks aren't everything" and that is the only reason she doesn't like Cage.

"Ahem", Nicolas Cage has no way of not looking concerned all the time. He has variations on one facial expression, and terrible hair. As with Em and the Russel Crowe post, I just want to smack those looks off his face. Cher is my hero.
